About Us
Our Story
The Scarabs is a FIRST robotics team representing Hazen High School in Renton, Washington. Established in 2014, this is our 8th year as a team. We participate in FIRST's FTC competition, where we design, program, and build a robot that competes each year with other teams/robots in selected games. In addition, we also serve our community by mentoring younger middle school robotics teams, promoting STEM education at our school and community, as well as donating materials for local groups such as finger guards and mask savers. We also provide students an opportunity to learn/improve in engineering, programming, and business skills.

While competition is important, our ultimate goal is to serve/represent our community while improving ourselves as young engineers, coders, and businesspeople.
